Association of Lisp Users

Introduction

The Association of Lisp Users is an international organization whose mission is: to support the Lisp community by hosting an annual conference and providing administrative support for Lisp-related projects and local user groups.

News

  • The 6th European Lisp Workshop will take place on July 6th 2009, in Genova, Italy.

    Edi Weitz will give a keynote address on the use of his notorious open source libraries in commercial / industrial application. The workshop will also feature technical papers on tools to interface modelling in biology, an infrastructure for offline work in web applications and a denotational semantics for modelling the class relationships of CLOS and its MOP. There will also be tutorials on filtered dispatch and SWCLOS, a semantic web processor.

  • The ALU is pleased to announce the restoration of http://wiki.alu.org. The board would like to thank Drew Crampsie and the Tech Co-op for hosting the new site.

    Unfortunately, the ALU was unable to access the old server; therefore the wiki had to be reconstructed from third-party caches. As a result, many pages could not be fully recovered. If you used the old wiki, please take a few minutes to check and fix the contents of the new wiki.

  • The International Lisp Conference 2009 took place at M.I.T., in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in March 2009. Record numbers attended! For more details see the conference website.
